AL WEBER INTERVIEW PT.1
Al Weber was born in Denver Colorado. He received an A.A. in photography and a B.A. in Education from the University of Denver and served as a Captain in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. After his military service he moved to the Monterey Peninsula. He is internationally recognized for the breadth of his work and contributions as a teacher and mentor including;
- Ansel Adams Workshops in Yosemite 1963-1981
- Starts Photo Program at Monterey Peninsula College 1961-1969
- Friends of Photography Workshop Program 1970-1977
- Taught with the University of California Extension Santa Cruz 1972-1987
- Lectures in photo workshop and colleges around the country
- Founds Victor School in Colorado 1977-2007
