This audio podcast presentation is my recollections of meetings with a variety of the world’s greatest photographers. Some were audio interviews, and some I was just honored to meet. It is historical, funny, and an insight into the individual photographers’ psyches. BIO: VIDIE LANGE FROM Wikipedia
Viola “Vidie” Burden Lange (1932-2016) was a Boulder, Colorado-based photographer.Born and raised in Iowa, Vidie Lange studied art and history at Clarke College (Dubuque, Iowa), the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Iowa. After moving to Colorado, she studied photography, video and computer imagery at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Lange taught art and photography classes at Colorado Mountain College and at Lac Court Oreilles Indian Reservation (in Wisconsin). She established the Lumina Workshop in Boulder, Colorado, where she taught photography from 1977 to 1984. Her work is in many museum collections including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Denver Art Museum, and the New York Public Library, among others.

HOWARD BOND
Howard Bond was a fine art photographer and photography educator, conducting many workshops around the world. Howard Bond began photographing in 1945 and turned to fine art in the 1960s, increasing to full time by 1979. He has had over 60 one-man exhibitions and 40 group exhibitions, mostly in museums and galleries. His photographs are in the collections of more than 35 museums in the United States and Europe.

Judy Dater is a California-based photographer and feminist and one of the most noted fine art photographers of our time. She is recognized for her portraits, books, workshop teachings and nudes. One of her most famous photographs is Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite featuring an elderly Imogen Cunningham, one of America's first woman photographers, encountering a nymph in the woods of Yosemite.

Today’s interview is with Peter and Alice Gowland who were a famous American glamour photographer team.
While best known for beautiful “pin-ups”, they also photographed numerous celebrities over the years. Among them, Jane Russel, Jonathan Winters, Muhammad Ali, and Raquel Welch. In addition, the Gowland team sold over 1000 magazine covers and photographed for playboy and countless advertising campaigns. With their expertise, the two have written over 35 books and guides.
Peter also has invented and sold 21 different kinds of cameras, the most popular being the Gowlandflex twin lens 4 x 5 still used by many professionals.
